The 2014 racing season continues to be a season of learning for Luke Stewart and his team. They were back at Brockville Speedway on Saturday night looking for another strong finish after a few rough weeks.

After finishing fourth in his qualifying heat race at Brockville on Saturday night, Luke Stewart returned to the pit area to make some adjustments before heading back to the track later in the evening for the 30 lap main event. Stewart started from inside the second row in the third position and was just outside the top five when Luke got caught up in a lap 11 incident that brought out the red flag. After being towed to the pit area, Luke returned after quick repairs, and was back on the track at the rear of the field. Luke continued on, and salvaged a 7th place finish.

“It was another frustrating night here, but we salvaged a top ten finish out of it”, says Stewart after the race. “This Hig-Fab car is working well, we just need to get a little more consistent and not get caught up in these wrecks like we did tonight”.

Stewart will be back at the BOS this Saturday night looking for another strong finish. Luke is currently 9th in points at Brockville after nine events in 2014.
